Permanent oxidative hair color
People reach for our bottles when they want permanent color applied directly at the sink without a mixing bowl. This page sets out our nine shades, the chemistry inside them, and the bleach products on our bench.

We blend a permanent oxidative dye into a shampoo bottle. It works through chemical oxidation, not plant extracts. The formula pairs dye precursors and an alkaline agent with hydrogen peroxide inside the dispenser. You apply it directly to dry hair at the sink without a mixing bowl.
A patch test 48 hours ahead is the only reliable way to learn how your skin reacts to oxidative dyes such as p-phenylenediamine and resorcinol. Allergic contact dermatitis does not always show up immediately. A reaction can take many hours to develop, which is why an immediate rinse or a brief wait does not provide the needed information.
Clean a small patch of skin behind your ear or inside your elbow, apply a drop of the unmixed color shampoo, and let it dry completely.
Leave the test spot uncovered and dry for 48 hours, without washing, scratching, or applying other personal care products to the area.
Check the site across the full 48 hours for redness, burning, itching, swelling, or blistering before you decide to apply the bottle at your sink.
We blend nine shades from Black to Light Brown. The shade on the label is a starting point. The color and porosity of your hair underneath decide the final tone. This product cannot lift dark hair to a lighter shade.

Put on protective gloves and apply the color directly from the bottle onto dry, unwashed hair.
Work the formula evenly through the hair from roots to ends without using a mixing bowl.
Leave the mixture to process on the hair for 20 to 25 minutes.
Rinse thoroughly with water until the run-off is clear, then apply the conditioning mask.
Because this is a permanent oxidative dye, the pigment does not wash out of the hair fiber. The color stays in the strand where it was formed. What you see over time is new hair growing in at the roots and the parting. Touch-ups depend on how fast your hair grows, so you reapply when your roots show rather than on a set calendar date.
Processing time at the sink: 20 to 25 minutes.
We formulate these products to lift existing pigment before color application. The bench includes bleaching powder in 45 g and 100 g sizes, a 150 g creme lightener, a boxed bleach kit, and developer in 20 vol and 30 vol strengths. It also holds our 500 ml purple toner, which neutralizes yellow tones after lightening and contains no lifting agents.

These three bottles carry the highest volume of feedback across the range. A high count shows which shades move most often through the catalog. It does not indicate how a color will develop on your own hair, how your starting shade will lift, or whether the tone matches what you want at your sink.

It can. The formula contains p-phenylenediamine, resorcinol and hydrogen peroxide. These chemicals can cause severe allergic reactions, burning, itching or swelling. Perform a skin allergy test 48 hours before every application. If your scalp stings or burns during use, rinse it out immediately.
This is a permanent oxidative hair color, not a temporary rinse. The pigment embeds inside the hair shaft. How long it stays visible depends on your hair porosity, how often you wash your hair, and how fast your roots grow out. We do not promise a specific number of weeks or days.
Yes. It contains oxidative dyes that stain skin, tiles, acrylic tubs, and grout on contact. Wear protective gloves during application. Wipe any drips off your skin and bathroom fixtures immediately with water and soap before the dye oxidizes and sets permanently.
Results vary. The formula deposits permanent dye during the 20 to 25 minute processing window, but coarse or resistant gray hair may absorb pigment unevenly. We do not promise complete or uniform gray coverage for every hair type.
We formulate this product for scalp hair only. Facial skin is thinner and far more sensitive to p-phenylenediamine, resorcinol, and hydrogen peroxide. Applying it to beards increases the risk of chemical irritation, swelling, or severe facial dermatitis.
Ask a doctor, not us. This bottle contains active chemical agents, including p-phenylenediamine, resorcinol, m-aminophenol, and hydrogen peroxide. We do not provide medical advice. Consult your physician before using permanent oxidative hair color while pregnant.
Our nine shades, mixing items, and wash-in care are available through our partner store. Always perform a patch test 48 hours before you apply any color.
